Cement Factory Loft

A dear friend recently sent me photos of this space and I was instantly impressed. While renovations of old factories aren’t uncommon, I haven’t seen many projects that leave structural elements like these silos intact. Spanish designer Ricardo Bofill bought an old cement factory and spent the next two years renovating it. He nows uses it for his home and studio. This is a beautiful building and I don’t know one architect who wouldn’t be envious of this much natural light.
